Welcome to the community hub of the village of Rauceby.

About The Hall

Welcome to the official website for Rauceby Village Hall. The hall is managed by a team of local volunteers who are trustees of the charity.

The property was built in 1911 by the owners of the Estate of Rauceby Hall. It was first used as a Reading Room for the inhabitants of the village of Rauceby. In 1953 the property was gifted to the village by the Estate to be used as a village hall for the purposes of “recreation, social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of……recreation and entertainments…..for the benefit of the inhabitants of Rauceby without distinction of sex, or of political, religious or other opinions” (source : our Constitution 1953).

The hall has these facilities

Main Hall

The Main Hall has a capacity of 110. It was redecorated in July 2024 and benefits from 3 large windows complete with curtains and blackout blinds, central heating, and a new floor (2023).

Small Meeting Room

This smaller meeting room can seat up to 10 people and is a welcome space for more private discussions and smaller group events. It also has access to the kitchen.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen with a new electric cooker (2024), microwave, fridge, sink, work surfaces, and new urn (2024). There are also catering hatches from the kitchen to the Main Hall and meeting room.

Conveniences

There are ladies, gents and accessible toilets in the hall.
